is an association whose main focus is on Bee farming (Bee keeping), We are an association made of groups or teams from different areas within the OR Tambo District & spread throughout the Eastern Cape province. We promote Apiculture (Beekeeping), mitigate & upload industrial interrelations from private, governmental and non-governmental structures.

BEE SPIRITS 2023 (14-18 August 2023, Hole-In-The Wall, Eastern Cape)

SABIO hosted African Regional Symposium (ARAS 2023)

SABIO hosted African Regional Symposium (ARAS 2023) at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli ICC in Durban, 21-24 March 2023. The Eastern Cape delegates, Beekeepers attended this historical event, as it was for the 1st time taking place in Africa. We so honoured that Minister Didiza graced us with her presence .

Team SA attended the 47th Apimondia(International Apicultural Congress). 24-28 August 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey. Two of our own MKBA board members, who are also SABIO board members attended the 47th Apimondia event (Simthembile Nzuzo ‘’ Eastern Cape’’ , Sisiphiwo Dingana ‘’ Eastern Cape’’, Tumi Mobu & Kai Hichert).
